Meet Dr. Ryan Rose

Education & Training

At Designing Smiles in Westchase, Dr. Ryan Rose brings that kind of background to every appointment. A Florida native with over a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Rose’s academic and clinical training includes:

Bachelor of Science — University of Florida
Doctor of Dental Medicine — Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine
Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency — a program the American Dental Association describes as designed to give graduates a broader base of knowledge for diagnosis, treatment planning, and comprehensive patient care

Military Service

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Rose’s career was shaped by service. He accepted a commission with the United States Army, completing tours as an AEGD resident at Ft. Jackson, Officer in Charge at the U.S. Army War College Dental Clinic, and staff dentist for the 7th Special Forces Group. He earned multiple distinctions during his service, including the coveted Expert Field Medical Badge, and was honored as Officer of the Year by the Region Health Command Atlantic Region. Today, he continues to serve as a reservist with the 7222 Medical Support Unit in Tampa.

Outside the Office

Dr. Rose is a proud father of three. He enjoys working out, outdoor adventures, attending sporting events, traveling, and spending time with his family.
