The procedure usually involves two visits.  At the first appointment your teeth are prepared to receive veneers.  A temporary covering is custom made for your smile, and an impression is taken. From the impression, models are made of your teeth and then veneers are fabricated in the laboratory.  Once completed, the veneers are returned for a fitting, adjustments, and cementation.  Once you approve of the look of the veneers, they are bonded directly to your enamel.  Laboratory fabricated veneers are usually made of either feldspathic or pressed ceramic porcelains, and are very aesthetic and natural looking.  As you can see from the before and after pictures above, porcelain veneers can dramatically improve and enhance your smile.
