The STA , Single Tooth Anesthesia Wand, gives us the ability to numb JUST your TOOTH, instead of the lip, cheek, and tongue. It is also called the WAND 2. It has a computerized delivery system that is used instead of the traditional injection. Most people do not even feel that they are receiving an injection, because it's so thin, and the anesthetic is delivered so slowly that it is barely detectable. It registers below the pain threshold. You feel numb, but not everywhere else, where you don't want or need to be numbed, just around the tooth that needs to be fixed. Amazing.
