Dr. Angela Hilton-Foley has been in dental practice for over 18 years, after graduating from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine, in 1991. Prior to receiving her doctorate, she majored in Microbiology and Immunology and achieved her undergraduate degree, also from the University of Florida, in 1986. (GO GATORS!)
Background: She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in South Florida. After attending two years of high school, she was allowed early admission into college. Between undergraduate and dental school, Dr. Hilton-Foley did research in her hometown of Miami, Florida at the Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Medical Center in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.
After graduation from UF College of Dentistry Dr. Hilton-Foley relocated to the Orlando area and set up her first solo private dental practice, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. After marrying and moving to the Tampa Bay area, she set up her new practice, Designing Smiles in the Westchase area. Dr. Hilton-Foley resides in the Westchase area along with her husband and two wonderful boys.
Dr. Hilton-Foley has attended more than 600 hours of Continuing Education, including courses at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Learning (LVI), the Nash Institute for Dental Training for Cosmetic Dentistry, the Nobel Biocare Implant Training in California, and Dr. Arun Garg's Implant Seminar Continuum. She is a trained in Oral Conscious Sedation and Invisalign, and has earned her Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, in dental implants. She loves to attend continuing education courses and considers herself a life long student. back to top
